BMS 2S 13A Lithium Battery Protection Board for 18650 Cells 7.4V / 8.4V BMS HX-2S-D20 The HX-2S-D20 2S Lithium Battery Protection Board is a compact Battery Management System (BMS) designed for 2-cell lithium-ion battery packs , such as packs built from 18650 cells . It helps monitor and protect the battery during charging and discharging, improving safety and extending battery life in portable and DIY power projects. This module is suitable for 2S battery configurations , where two lithium cells are connected in series to provide a 7.4V nominal output and 8.4V full charge voltage . It includes essential protection features such as overcharge protection , over-discharge protection , overcurrent protection , and short-circuit protection . The board has a simple connection layout with five terminals : B+ : Battery positive terminal B- : Battery negative terminal BM : Middle connection point between the two cells P+ : Positive charge / discharge terminal P- : Negative charge / discharge terminal When the voltage exceeds the safe operating limit, the module enters protection mode to prevent damage to the battery pack. Recovery can take place automatically after conditions return to normal, or after reapplying the correct voltage to the board. This BMS board is intended for lithium battery pack protection only. It is not a charger , so it should be used together with a proper 8.4V lithium charger or suitable charging circuit.
