Description

L7924CT Negative Voltage Regulator 24V 1.5A TO-3 The L7924CT is a fixed −24 V three-terminal negative linear regulator in a TO-3 power package, designed to provide local on-card regulation for split supplies and high-voltage rails. It integrates thermal overload protection, short-circuit protection and output transition SOA protection to ensure reliable operation under thermal and inductive stress, and will deliver up to 1.5A with adequate heatsinking for demanding applications. Features Fixed 24V output voltage for negative rail generation. Output current up to 1.5A with internal limiting. Thermal overload protection for safe operation under overtemperature conditions. Short-circuit protection and output transition SOA protection to withstand inductive and transient loads. Low quiescent current and good supply-rejection characteristics for stable regulation. Available in TO-3 package for low thermal resistance and robust mounting.
