Thermoelectric Cooler (Peltier) TEC1-12706 (40x40mm) The TEC1-12706 is a high-performance thermoelectric cooler (TEC) module based on the Peltier effect, consisting of 127 semiconductor couples sandwiched between ceramic plates. When DC current flows through it, one side absorbs heat (cooling) while the other releases it (heating), enabling reversible temperature control by simply reversing polarity. This 40 mm square module is environmentally friendly making it a popular choice for electronics hobbyists and small-scale industrial uses.
