UNI-T UT715 Multifunction Loop Process Calibrator The UNI-T UT715 Multifunction Loop Process Calibrator is a handheld instrument engineered for precise sourcing and measurement of loop currents and voltages in industrial control circuits. Internally, it combines a high-resolution 20,000-count display with a stable DC supply and current-generation circuitry to simulate transmitter signals while simultaneously measuring process loops. This dual-function capability allows technicians to energize a 4–20 mA loop with a 24 V supply, verify transmitter outputs, and troubleshoot faults without needing separate power sources. A built-in continuity check streamlines wiring diagnostics, and selectable frequency and pulse outputs facilitate testing of frequency-based devices. Housed in an ergonomic, impact-resistant casing, the UT715 features a backlit LCD for clear readings in dim environments and an auto power-off function to preserve battery life. Rechargeable AA cells power the unit for extended field use, and a micro-USB port enables firmware updates and data transfer to PC software. Rapid step-and-ramp functions automate signal sweeps to validate transmitter linearity, while onboard memory stores user-defined setups to expedite repeat calibrations. Lightweight (650 g) and compact, the UT715 integrates all essential loop-calibration tools into a single package, making it ideal for maintenance, calibration, and commissioning of process control systems. Features: Step/ramp functions for automated loop-signal simulation. Rechargeable 1.2 V × 6 AA battery pack. Source and measure accuracy up to ±(0.02 % + 2 digits) for voltage and current. Contrast-adjustable, backlit LCD for clear visibility. Auto power-off (time adjustable) to extend battery life. Provides 24 V loop power to a transmitter while simultaneously measuring loop current. Stores and recalls user-defined setups for repeat calibrations. USB communication port for PC connectivity and data logging.
