Its large-diameter clamp sensor (42 mm inner jaw) accommodates conductors up to 1000 A AC without disconnecting wiring, making it ideal for inspecting heavy-duty power circuits, switchgear, and busbars. The instrument employs a Δ–Σ average-sensing method, presenting readings on a 4000-count LCD at up to three samples per second, alongside clear over-range and polarity indicators. A broad DMM feature set including AC/DC voltage (400 mV to 600 V), resistance up to 40 MΩ, continuity buzzer, and diode test eliminates the need for a separate meter.
