7438 Quad 2-Input NAND Buffer With Open-Collector Outputs The 7438 is a quad 2-input NAND buffer IC designed for digital logic applications requiring open-collector output functionality. It contains four independent NAND gates, each capable of handling two input signals and producing an inverted logical output. Features : Four independent 2-input positive-NAND buffer gates in a single 14-pin DIP package. Open-collector outputs that allow wired-OR and wired-AND configurations, simplifying complex gate implementations. Wide supply voltage range from 4.75V to 5.25V, compatible with standard 5V TTL systems. High-speed operation with a maximum propagation delay of 32ns at 5V and 45pF load capacitance.
