KA3525A PWM Controller 500mA SMD IC The KA3525-A is a monolithic integrated circuit designed as a high-performance Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) controller. It is equipped with a comprehensive set of features that provide all the necessary building blocks to implement a fixed-frequency, voltage-mode switching power supply. The internal architecture includes a temperature-compensated voltage reference, an on-chip error amplifier, a precision oscillator, a pulse-steering flip-flop, a current-limit protection circuit, and an under-voltage lockout (UVLO) circuit. Additionally, the output stage of the KA3525A incorporates two alternating totem-pole output drivers capable of sourcing or sinking up to 500mA of peak current each. This makes the KA3525A ideal for driving the gates of external MOSFETs or IGBTs in push-pull converter topologies. Features: 500mA Output suitable for a wide range of power supply designs.
