KYORITSU KEW 4106 Earth Resistance & Resistivity Tester (Made In THAILAND) The KYORITSU KEW 4106 Earth Resistance & Resistivity Tester (Made In THAILAND is a hand-held digital instrument engineered for precise measurement of earth resistance and soil resistivity. Housed in a rugged, IP54-rated case, it integrates a microcomputer to automate complex calculations, enabling fast and reliable readings even in electrically noisy environments. Its dot-matrix LCD with backlight ensures clear visibility of results in low-light or dusty conditions. Equipped with versatile wiring options, the KEW 4106 supports 2-, 3-, and 4-wire fall-of-potential resistance tests, as well as Wenner 4-pole resistivity measurements. Users can select or auto-select one of four test frequencies (94 Hz, 105 Hz, 111 Hz, 128 Hz) to minimize interference, while the built-in FFT-based filtering stabilizes readings under challenging site conditions.. Data management is streamlined: up to 800 results can be stored and later transferred to a PC via the supplied USB optical adapter and KEW Report software. Additional conveniences include residual-lead resistance nulling, automatic power-off, battery-voltage check, and alerted warnings for high auxiliary-spike resistance or earth-voltage interference. Features: Meets IEC 61010-1, IEC 61010-2-030 (CAT III 300 V/CAT IV 150 V) and related safety standards. FFT-based filtering for stable measurements in noisy environments. Dot-matrix 192×64 monochrome LCD with backlight. Manual/automatic selection of four test frequencies (94/105/111/128 Hz). Rk function to cancel residual test-lead resistance. Battery check and low-battery warning. Series interference-voltage and frequency measurement. Auxiliary earth-resistance measurement and warning. Auto-power-off after 5 min of inactivity. Memory for 800 measurements with PC transfer via optical adapter.
