TIP34 PNP Transistor 40V 10A TO-247 The TIP34 PNP Transistor 40V 10A TO-247 is a complementary high-power PNP silicon transistor designed for general-purpose power amplifier and switching applications, offered in a TO-247 package with robust thermal performance and conservative safe-operating characteristics suitable for industrial and consumer power electronics designs. Features Collector-emitter sustaining voltage (VCE0(sus)) 40V. Collector-base sustaining voltage (VCBO) 40V. Emitter-base voltage (VEBO) 5.0V. Continuous collector current IC = 10A and peak/short-pulse capability up to 15A. Base current rating IB up to 3.0A. Total power dissipation PD = 80W at Tc = 25°C with derating above 25°C. DC current gain hFE ≥ 40 (min) at VCE = 4.0V, IC = 1.0A. Low-frequency small-signal current gain hfe ≈ 20 (typ) under small-signal test conditions. Current-gain bandwidth product fT ≈ 3.0MHz (typ). Collector-emitter saturation: VCE(sat) ≈ 1.0V at IC = 3.0A, IB = 0.3A; VCE(sat) ≈ 4.0V at IC = 10A, IB = 2.5A.
