TOP258PN Offline Switcher Power Supply IC PDIP-8C The TOP258PN is a highly integrated off-line switcher IC designed for use in isolated AC-DC power supplies employing a flyback topology. It integrates a high-voltage 700 V MOSFET, control logic, PWM oscillator, and comprehensive protection circuitry onto a single monolithic die, substantially reducing external component count and simplifying power supply design. The device belongs to Power Integrations’ TOPSwitch-HX family, which is optimized for high-efficiency performance over a wide load range as well as compliance with modern energy-efficiency standards in standby and no-load conditions.
