SAB0600 Three-Tone Chime Generator IC DIP-8 SAB0600 Three-Tone Chime Generator IC DIP-8 is a bipolar integrated circuit designed to generate a pleasant three-tone chime sequence for doorbells, alarms, and signaling applications. The IC produces three harmonically tuned frequencies switched in succession with individually controlled decay, creating a natural chime effect. Tone characteristics can be adjusted using an external RC network, while the integrated output stage directly drives an 8Ω loudspeaker through a coupling capacitor. Requiring only a few external components and offering very low standby current, the SAB0600 is an excellent choice for compact electronic chime and notification systems.
