4002 Dual 4 Input NOR Gate CMOS Logic IC The 4002 is a high-speed CMOS dual 4-input NOR gate implemented in silicon-gate HC logic. Each device contains two independent NOR gates, each with four inputs, allowing compact implementation of multi-input NOR logic in digital systems. Built with CMOS technology, the device combines the switching speed associated with bipolar/LSTTL logic and the low static power consumption of CMOS, making it suitable for battery-sensitive and moderate-speed applications. Physically available in DIP, SOIC and TSSOP housings, the HC4002 is pin-compatible with standard LS family logic for easy replacement or mixed-family designs.
