2S 8.4V USB Type-C Lithium Battery Charger Module – 2A The 2S 8.4V USB Type-C Lithium Battery Charger Module is designed for charging two 3.7V lithium-ion or 18650 cells connected in series. A 2S battery pack has a nominal voltage of approximately 7.4V and reaches 8.4V when fully charged. This compact module accepts power from a standard 5V USB Type-C supply. Its integrated step-up charging circuit increases the input voltage to the correct charging voltage for a 2S lithium battery pack. Therefore, it provides a convenient charging solution for portable electronics, robotics, DIY power systems, and rechargeable projects. Features of the 2S 8.4V USB Type-C Lithium Battery Charger Module The board includes a modern USB Type-C input, making it easy to power from a suitable USB adapter or power bank. It also provides solder pads for a wired power input when a USB connection is not required. Onboard status LEDs indicate the charging condition. The CR indicator normally shows that charging is active, while the OK indicator shows that the battery has reached full charge or the board has entered constant-voltage mode. Charging performance also depends on the input adapter, USB cable, battery condition, wiring resistance, and module temperature. Wiring Instructions Connect the positive terminal of the complete 2S battery pack to BAT+ and the negative terminal to BAT− or GND, according to the labels printed on the board. Check the polarity carefully before applying power. Use only two matched rechargeable lithium cells connected in series. Do not connect a single 3.7V cell, a 3S pack, or batteries with different capacities and conditions.
