3×18650 Series Battery Holder The 3×18650 Series Battery Holder connects three lithium-ion cells in series. Therefore, it combines their voltages to provide an 11.1V nominal output. When fully charged, three standard 18650 cells can produce up to 12.6V. However, the available capacity remains equal to the capacity of one cell. Key Features Holds three 18650 lithium-ion batteries Uses a 3S1P series configuration Provides an 11.1V nominal output Reaches up to 12.6V when fully charged Combines the voltage of all three cells Allows easy battery installation and replacement Uses spring-loaded battery contacts Suits portable electronics and DIY power systems Technical Specifications Battery Type: Rechargeable 18650 Li-ion Number of Cells: Three Connection: Series Configuration: 3S1P Nominal Output Voltage: 11.1V Maximum Output Voltage: 12.6V Output Capacity: Equal to one installed cell Batteries Included: No Protection Circuit: Not included Applications Use this battery holder for: 12V-class electronics projects Robotics Portable devices LED lighting Small motor projects Arduino systems with a suitable regulator Battery-powered prototypes DIY power supplies Installation Guidelines Use three matching 18650 cells. Check every cell for damage. Insert each cell according to the marked polarity. Connect a suitable 3S BMS. Use a dedicated 12.6V lithium battery charger. Measure the output voltage before connecting the load. Important Notes Do not use a 4.2V single-cell charger. Use a 12.6V charger designed for 3S lithium packs. Add a suitable 3S BMS for charging and discharging protection. Use cells with the same brand, capacity, condition, and charge level. Never mix new and old batteries. The holder alone does not balance or protect the cells. Check the polarity before installing every battery.
