SIEMENS SAB8284B-P Clock Generator and Driver for SAB 8086/8088 Processors +5V 110mA DIP-18 The SAB 8284B-P is a single-chip bipolar clock generator and driver designed for Siemens SAB 8086 and SAB 8088 processors and peripherals . Fabricated using Siemens’ fast bipolar ASBC (Advanced Standard Buried Collector) process, it integrates a crystal-controlled oscillator, divide-by-three counter, system reset logic with hysteresis, and bus READY synchronization logic . It uses 30% less power supply current than standard SAB 8284A devices .
