TDA7266 (7+7W) Dual Bridge Amplifier The TDA7266 is a dual-channel bridge amplifier in a compact Multiwatt‑15 package, delivering 7 W per channel into 8 Ω at 10% distortion designed for audio applications such as televisions and portable radios. Operating on a single power supply ranging from 3 V up to 18 V, the device requires minimal external components thanks to its internal fixed gain structure and lack of bootstrap or Boucherot components. Integrated standby and mute pins let designers control output activation to prevent power-on transients. The amplifier includes comprehensive thermal and short-circuit protection circuits to enhance safety and reliability. It maintains quiescent current around 50–65 mA, with internal biasing ensuring stable performance.
