DB9 Female to Pin Header This adapter provides a standard DE-9 (commonly called DB9) female port linked to through-hole pin headers. By mapping the nine D-sub pins to an accessible header layout, it enables clean wiring, solderless connections, and easy signal interrogation. Features This connector is the same as you find on some boards, computers and similar small form factor equipment. Ship with a strip of male header pins that are soldered on the bottom of the adapter; you want to plug this into a breadboard. Pin header pitch distance 2.54mm. The board has 2 M3 size holes that can be used for mounting if desired.
