This sensor has a high sensitivity and fast response time. It is suitable for sensing hydrogen concentrations in the air. The MQ-8 can detect hydrogen gas concentrations anywhere from 100-10000ppm. The sensor can output an analog or digital signal. The sensitivity can be adjusted by the potentiometer. They are used in gas leakage detecting equipments in home and industry applications.
