SBR20UU Linear Bearing Block, D20mm These fully supported SBR rails are made of a precision machined, hardened steel, cylindrical shaft secured to a sturdy extruded 6061 aluminum base. Designed as a cheaper alternative to profile rails they perform quite well in CNC and motion control applications where a smooth, predictable motion is desired. These rails are capable of resisting large lateral forces and are generally more tolerant to non-precision milled mounting surfaces due to their cylindrical shape making for easier installation. The bearing blocks that suit these rails are made of a durable cast aluminum housing with rows of carbon steel ball bearings secured into an ABS housing and provide there lateral force resists on a carbon steel race sleeve inside the housing.
