PIR Sensor XYC-PIR203B-S0 3 Pin TO-5 The PIR203B is a TO-5 packaged pyroelectric infrared sensor element that converts changes in infrared radiation (caused by moving warm bodies) into an electrical output. Its dual-element (binary compensation) design and built-in RC filtering improve immunity to temperature drift and radio-frequency interference, providing a stable, high signal-to-noise output suitable for use with simple amplifier/trigger circuits or motion-detection modules. Intended for integration behind a Fresnel lens, the PIR203B is used as the sensing element in automatic lighting, intrusion detectors, smart toys, and other consumer or security devices. The part is supplied as a sealed metal package with defined window/filter characteristics — designers add the appropriate amplifier, comparator and lens to produce a finished motion sensor module.
