ULN2804 Darlington Transistor Array SMD IC SOP-18-300mil The eight ULN2804 NPN Darlington-connected transistors in this family of arrays are ideally suited for interfacing between low logic level digital circuitry (such as TTL, CMOS, or PMOS/NMOS) and the higher current/voltage requirements of lamps, relays, printer hammers, or other similar loads for a broad range of computer, industrial, and consumer applications. All devices feature open–collector outputs and free-wheeling clamp diodes for transient suppression. Features Eight NPN Darlington channels with common emitters for multi‑output sink driving. Integral clamp diodes on each output for inductive load protection. 10.5 kΩ input resistors compatible with 6 V–15 V PMOS/CMOS logic. Each channel sinks up to 500 mA continuous at output voltages to 50 V. SOP‑18‑300 mil surface‑mount package for space‑efficient PCB designs. Operating temperature range from −40 °C to +85 °C. Power dissipation of 0.92 W on standard glass‑epoxy PCB (75 × 114 × 1.6 mm, Cu 20 %).
