Utilizing time-of-flight (TOF) principles, this sensor emits a 940nm laser pulse and calculates distance based on the round-trip time of the reflected light, achieving measurements that are highly accurate and repeatable. Performance is independent of object reflectance. Operates in high infrared ambient light levels.
