LVR005 PTC Resettable Fuse 265V 50mA Through Hole The PolySwitch line-voltage-rated (LVR) devices help protect electric motors and transformers used in commercial and home appliances from damage caused by mechanical overloads, overheating, stall, lost neutral and other potentially harmful conditions. The LVR line-voltage product line of polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PPTC) devices includes components that are rated for line voltages of 120VAC, VDC and 240VAC, VDC for up to 2A of operating current at 20°C. They help protect against damage caused by both overcurrent surges and overtemperature faults. Features Current ratings of 50mA Line voltage rating of 265VAC, VDC Fast time-to-trip Low resistance Electrical Characteristics Parameter Symbol Value Units Hold Current IH 0.05 A Trip Current IT 0.12 A Maximum Operating Voltage VMAX (Op) 240 V Maximum Interrupt Voltage VMAX (Int) 265 V Maximum Interrupt Current IMAX 1 A Power Dissipation (typ) PD 0.9 W Maximum Time-to-Trip — 10 s Resistance (min) RMIN 18.5 Ω Resistance (max) RMAX 31.0 Ω Post-Trip Resistance R1MAX 65.0 Ω Lead Size — 0.51 mm² / 24 AWG Physical Specifications Characteristic Detail Body Material Flame-retardant epoxy polymer (UL 94V-0) Lead Material Tin-plated copper, 24 AWG (Ø 0.51 mm) Dimensions (LVR005) Parameter Value (A) 6.8 mm (B) 10 mm (C) 5.3 mm (D) 7 mm (E) 3 mm Applications Electromagnetic loads Game machines Industrial controls Lighting ballasts Loudspeakers Medical equipment Motors, fans and blowers Documents Resettable PPTCs Line-Voltage-Rated Devices DataSheet WT_ROHS Test Report Certification
