Description

SAB8287AP Octal Bus Transceiver 5V 90mA IC DIP-20 The SAB8287A is an 8-bit bipolar bus transceiver that provides bidirectional data transfer and bus buffering with three-state outputs and dedicated control inputs for direction and output enable. It is the inverting member of the SAB8286/SAB8287 family, so inputs on the A-side are presented inverted on the B-side (useful where logic inversion is required between subsystems). Direction is controlled by the T (TRANSMIT) input and outputs are gated by the active-LOW OE (OUTPUT ENABLE) control, allowing easy interfacing to microprocessor and system buses. Designed for 5 V systems, the device offers robust output drive for system-level loads and supports a high-impedance (three-state) mode to allow multiple devices to share the bus without output low-glitches when entering/leaving the high-Z state.
