JGA25-370 12V 50RPM DC Gear Motor The JGA25-370 12V 50RPM DC Gear Motor provides low-speed movement and high momentary torque for robotics and automation projects. It combines a compact brushed DC motor with a durable metal reduction gearbox. Therefore, it offers smooth movement and reliable mechanical performance. The motor operates at a nominal voltage of 12V DC . It delivers a no-load output speed of approximately 50RPM . In addition, its low-speed gearbox increases the available output torque for demanding mechanisms. The motor can produce up to 25kg·cm of stall torque . However, this figure represents momentary torque when the output shaft cannot rotate. It does not represent the recommended continuous working torque. Therefore, avoid keeping the shaft blocked during operation. JGA25-370 50RPM Motor Features The all-metal gearbox improves durability and supports stable operation. Moreover, the 4mm D-shaped shaft provides a secure connection to compatible wheels, hubs and couplings. The motor also supports clockwise and counterclockwise rotation by reversing its power polarity. A microcontroller cannot power this motor directly. Instead, connect it through a suitable H-bridge motor driver. For example, you can use a driver with Arduino, ESP32, STM32 or Raspberry Pi control systems. Also, select a driver that can safely handle the motor’s starting and stall current. Technical Specifications Model: JGA25-370 Motor type: Brushed DC gear motor Nominal voltage: 12V DC Operating voltage range: 6V to 18V No-load speed at 12V: 50RPM No-load current at 12V: approximately 50mA Stall current at 12V: approximately 1.2A Stall torque at 12V: up to 25kg·cm Gearbox type: Metal reduction gearbox Output shaft: 4mm D-shaped shaft Rotation direction: CW and CCW Motor diameter: approximately 25mm Applications The JGA25-370 12V 50RPM DC Gear Motor suits robotic arms, conveyor mechanisms and slow-moving robot platforms. Additionally, it can operate small automated doors, rotating displays and custom DIY machines. Finally, use a stable 12V power source and an appropriate motor driver. This setup protects the controller and helps the motor deliver consistent performance.
