Hex Bus Drive with 3-State Outputs IC 74367 The NTE74367 is a TTL hex bus driver in a 16-lead plastic DIP package. It provides six buffered outputs with three-state capability to simplify sharing of common bus lines and reduce contention in multi-device systems. The device is arranged so sections can be used independently or cascaded, giving designers flexible placement for address, data or control signals. Each section includes active-low enable (G) inputs that place outputs into a high-impedance state when disabled, permitting safe bus multiplexing. The outputs are engineered to drive common bus topologies and to interface with terminated lines, helping maintain signal integrity on longer or heavily loaded interconnects. Emphasis in the device design is on reliable drive strength and input/output isolation, allowing improved fan-out and fan-in when buffering memory address registers, clock lines, or general bus interfaces.
