From Micro Ohm's description
R140 Brushed DC Motor 3-9V 10000RPM The R140 Brushed DC Motor 3-9V 10000RPM is a compact and practical high-speed motor designed for a wide range of small electronic and mechanical projects. It is suitable for users who need a reliable DC motor for lightweight motion applications where compact size, simple wiring, and fast rotation are important. This motor operates within a 3V to 9V DC range, making it flexible for battery-powered circuits, low-voltage systems, and prototype designs. At the upper end of its operating range, it can deliver speeds up to 10000RPM , which makes it useful in projects that require fast spinning movement such as mini fans, toy mechanisms, experimental drives, and lightweight robotic systems. The R140 motor uses a brushed DC design , so it is easy to drive and integrate into common electronic circuits without complicated control requirements. Its metal body construction helps provide mechanical stability, while the internal motor structure is intended to deliver smooth rotation, practical torque for its size, and consistent performance in general small-scale applications. This type of motor is well suited for hobby electronics, educational experiments, custom rotating assemblies, mini tools, and prototype systems. It can be used in robotics projects, simple electric models, student training setups, and repair work where a compact motor with round shaft output is needed. The 2mm shaft diameter also makes it practical for coupling with small wheels, gears, pulleys, propellers, or fan blades depending on the project design. Because of its compact dimensions and broad voltage compatibility, this motor is a useful choice for makers, students, technicians, and engineers looking for a small DC motor that is easy to use and adaptable across many low-power motion applications.
