TL7702 Supply Voltage Controller DIP-8 The TL7702 is a compact, integrated supply-voltage supervisor provided in a standard DIP-8 package. Designed for system reset control, it monitors a designated sense input and produces defined reset outputs during power-up and undervoltage events. The device integrates a temperature-compensated reference and an internal timer which, together with an external timing capacitor, determine the duration of reset assertion to ensure clean initialization of downstream logic. In operation the TL7702 maintains the reset outputs active until monitored voltages exceed a precise threshold, then uses the timing capacitor to provide a controlled release. The device offers complementary reset outputs (active high and active low) with open-collector/open-drain style behavior that requires external pull-ups for logic-level signaling. Its compact DIP form factor simplifies prototyping and replacement in through-hole designs. It is tolerant of moderate supply transients too.
