UNI-T LM100A Laser Distance Meter (up to 100 meter) The LM100A appears as a well-balanced hand-held device, shaped for ease of use and clear readability. Its body is slightly elongated with a comfortable mix of grippy surfaces and smooth panels so it feels secure in one hand. When powered on, its display springs to life with clean, crisp numerals on a back-lit screen, allowing the user to immediately understand what’s being measured. A visible laser window emits a thin red beam, guiding alignment between the meter and target surface, while other parts of the device buttons and edges are laid out for intuitive operation. In practice, one can point the LM100A toward a distant wall or point, press the trigger, and watch the measurement change.
