From Makers Electronics's description
UNI-T UT120B Digital Multimeter UNI-T UT120B Digital Multimeter is conceived as a fundamental tool for electrical and electronic diagnostics, balancing essential functionality with extreme portability. Its defining characteristic is its slender, notebook-style form factor, engineered to be a constant companion for technicians and hobbyists. The design prioritizes a straightforward user experience, centring around a single rotary selector switch complemented by a few auxiliary buttons, minimizing complexity. This approach embodies the principle of having a reliable, no-fuss measuring instrument always within reach. Interaction with the UT120B is intentionally simplified. The auto-ranging capability serves as its operational cornerstone, automatically selecting the correct measurement scale and allowing users to focus on probe placement rather than manual range selection. The interface provides clear visual feedback through its LCD, which displays measurement values, function icons, and important warnings like low battery. Functions like data hold and relative measurement offer practical utility for comparing readings or capturing values in difficult-to-see areas without adding operational clutter. Built with user safety as a priority, the multimeter incorporates fundamental protective design elements. It is rated for Category II installations up to 600V, providing a safeguarded measurement envelope for typical household and low-energy commercial circuits. The construction adheres to double insulation standards, and important safety warnings are integrated throughout its manual and design, emphasizing proper use to avoid hazards. Its robust housing is designed to be cleaned and maintained easily, supporting its role as a durable tool for everyday use. Features Auto-ranging measurement capability.
