Carbon Monoxide (CO) Gas Sensor RS-CO2-I20-2-10000P 4-20mA The Carbon Monoxide Gas Sensor RS-CO2-I20-2-10000P with 4-20 mA output is designed to continuously monitor CO concentrations in enclosed or semi-open areas. Its enclosure is rugged and sealed to protect the internal sensing element against dust, moisture, and mechanical damage. It is compact yet engineered to allow easy field installation and wiring, simplifying integration into safety or control systems. Gas molecules diffuse through a selective membrane or diffusion port into the sensor’s internal chamber where the CO interacts with the sensing element (e.g. electrochemical cell or semiconductor). The change induced in the sensing element is processed by on-board analog circuitry to produce a stable, linear 4-20 mA signal that is proportional to the CO concentration. Compensation for ambient temperature and humidity is incorporated to correct for environmental influences. This model is meant for long-term deployment with minimal maintenance needs. Drift compensation, periodic self-checks, and robust physical design help it maintain accuracy over time.
