From Makers Electronics's description
sanwa DCM2000DR AC/DC True RMS Clamp Meter The Sanwa DCM2000DR AC/DC True RMS Clamp Meter is a professional-grade digital instrument designed for high-current measurements up to 2000A with CAT IV 1000V safety compliance. Featuring a 6000-count dual display with backlight, it provides True RMS AC readings, simultaneous voltage/current and frequency display, and VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) support for industrial applications. Additional functions include DC current/voltage, resistance up to 40MΩ, capacitance to 2000μF, electric field (EF) detection, peak hold (5ms), and low-pass filtering to minimize ghost voltage effects. Powered by 2x R6P (AA) batteries with auto power save after 30-34 minutes, it measures Ø55mm conductors up to 20x66mm and ensures overload protection at DC/AC 1100V CAT or 2000A. Ideal for low-voltage circuitry, electric equipment, power facilities, and motor testing, it includes a carrying case, manual, and TL-29 test leads. Features True RMS measurement ensures accurate readings even with distorted or non-linear waveforms, making it reliable for modern electrical systems. AC/DC current measurement up to 2000A provides high versatility for industrial, maintenance, and power applications. Dual display with frequency allows simultaneous monitoring of multiple parameters, improving efficiency during diagnostics. EF (Electric Field) detection enables non-contact voltage sensing, increasing user safety and quick fault detection. Low-pass filter and VFD measurement improve accuracy when working with variable frequency drives and noisy signals. Low input impedance function reduces ghost voltage effects, ensuring more reliable voltage readings. Data hold, range hold, and peak hold functions enhance usability by capturing and stabilizing readings in dynamic conditions. Auto power save feature extends battery life and improves energy efficiency during field use. CAT IV 1000V safety rating ensures high protection level, making it suitable for demanding electrical environments.
