PG-16 Nylon Waterproof Cable Gland The PG-16 Waterproof Cable Gland is a compact cable-entry fitting designed to provide secure cable retention and a reliable seal where cables pass through an enclosure. Its PG16 threaded body and compression sealing mechanism grip the cable while helping prevent dust and water from entering the enclosure. Typical PG16 nylon cable glands accommodate cables around 10–14 mm in diameter. The gland is well suited for electrical panels, automation equipment, junction boxes, machinery, outdoor enclosures, and general cable-management applications. Nylon/polyamide PG16 versions are commonly available with IP68 protection, making them suitable for installations requiring protection against dust and water ingress when correctly installed within the specified cable range.
