Carbon Monoxide (CO) Gas Sensor RS-CO-I20-2-2000P-2 4-20mA The RS-CO-I20-2-2000P-2 is a fixed carbon monoxide gas sensor engineered for continuous ambient CO monitoring in industrial, commercial, or building automation systems. It is housed in a durable, sealed enclosure to defend the internal sensing element from dust, moisture, and mechanical stress. It is intended for semi-permanent installation in locations where CO accumulation is a safety concern, such as boiler rooms, garages, tunnels, or near combustion equipment. Carbon monoxide gas enters the sensor chamber via diffusion through a membrane or vent port and reaches the internal electrochemical sensing element. The CO molecules react at the electrode surface to induce a proportional electrical signal change. Onboard signal conditioning circuitry then linearizes and scales that signal to a 4-20 mA analog current output. Compensation circuits correct for ambient temperature and humidity influences to enhance measurement consistency. Over extended operation, the RS-CO-I20-2-2000P-2 is designed to maintain stability via low drift electronics and calibration correction mechanisms.
