NEMA 17 Stepper Motor 42BYGH40 The 42BYGH40 is a two-phase bipolar hybrid motor featuring a 1.8° (200 steps/rev) step angle and a 40 mm motor length. It draws 1.5 A per phase with phase resistance 2 Ω (±10%), has phase inductance 3 mH – 3.2 mH (±20%), and produces 0.4 Nm holding torque. Equipped with a 5 mm D-type shaft, the motor offers insulation resistance ≥ 100 MΩ @ 500 VDC and dielectric strength 500 VAC for 1 min. It supports continuous operation with temperature rise ≤ 80 °C, operating ambient –20 °C to +50 °C, storage –20 °C to +70 °C, and utilizes a standard 4‑lead bipolar wiring configuration.
