From Makers Electronics's description
UNI-T UT203+ Digital Clamp Meter The UNI-T UT203+ is a rugged digital clamp meter built for both professional electricians and serious DIY users. Its body is sizable, with a solid clamp jaw and a bold rotary switch, giving the tool a feel of durability when held. The front is dominated by a large LCD display that clearly shows readings across various modes. On the face, there are marked ranges and indicator symbols. The casing is designed so that all buttons and the clamp lever are accessible with one hand, even in work gloves, making it well-suited for field work under rough conditions. When in use, the UT203+ delivers versatile measurement options without constant range guessing—its auto-range mode, large clamp opening, and true-RMS electronics work together to provide stable readings even under complex AC loads. Though powerful, the tool aims to give immediate, readable results: the display legends, backlight (when available), and symbols help the operator confirm correct mode, polarity, or overload warnings. It balances strength with usability, keeping the menus or mode changes simple, which helps reduce errors in high-pressure or time-sensitive tasks. Physically, the UT203+ is built to endure being moved around: robust housing, possibility of being stored in tool belts or bags, and solid input protection to avoid damage from accidental overvoltage or misuse. The unit feels like it can take knocks or rough handling without losing performance. While it offers many measurement types (current, voltage, resistance, etc.), it isn’t overburdened with complexity; the operator can efficiently shift between measurement types via the dial and select buttons. Overall, the UT203+ aims to provide a dependable instrument that combines durability, breadth of capability, and clear, reliable interaction in challenging electrical work settings. Features: True RMS measurements. Auto-range capability. NCV (non-contact voltage) detection. Measurement of AC & DC current (up to 400A). AC & DC voltage measurement (up to 600V).
